The Door and gate Phone is a wireless system providing voice and command communication from inside to outside the home or office. The user can speak with visitors via the portable handset and remotely operate the door and/or gate if they wish to let them in. A 4 digit programmable PIN code enables the authorized user to control the gate or door and enable an auxiliary code for temporary users Simple and fast to install, the DoorPhone is both attractive and practical and has an exceptional degree of reliability as it utilizes DynaPass® frequency agile radio transmission technology.

Many applications including gate opening, door release, garage door triggering, external light switching and communications between the caller unit and portable handset, make the DoorPhone extremely versatile. A twin button caller unit is also available for twin premises, and a multi unit system allowing up to 50 units to control & monitor a door or gate is also available The new DoorPhone has rechargeable handsets and an anti-vandal metal cover for the caller unit plus the Controller transceiver is fitted with an ac power supply complete with rechargeable standby batteries.

Typical Configuration
Call Unit The Caller unit (IP54 rated)

Sited by the front door or gate, this is the outdoor unit by which visitors announce and identify themselves. Available with one or two call buttons Comes in white ABS plastic with a ruggedised die cast brushed aluminium anti-vandal cover
Controller The Controller (IP54 rated)

Connected to the Caller unit, to which it supplies power and for which it makes radio communications to the cordless handset. It directly controls & powers a standard 12-volt ac or dc latch or electric lock, plus it has a volt free relay contact to trigger a powered gate or door system. The auxiliary D5300 lighting controller can also control external lighting and garage doors.

Handset The Handset

Allows the user to identify and welcome visitors, to control the opening of doors and gates and to verify their status, open or closed via it's LCD display. The display also indicates radio signal strength, low battery warning, and has adjustments for volume and ringing tone. The handset can also control lighting when used in conjunction with the D5300 lighting controller. The cordless handset is provided with Ni-Cad rechargeable batteries automatically recharged when the handset is plugged onto its mounting base unit. The base unit is provided with a low voltage power cord to a plug in mains charger unit. Multiple additional handsets can be added to the system.

  • PD5131 - 3 function: operates door release, gate motor & L5300 Light control, NiCad rechargeable batteries with plug-in AC power pack.
  • PD5141 - 3 function: operates door release, gate motor & L5300 Light control, rechargeable Li-Ion battery power pack, recharged from long life batteries in handset base, typical life 3 years.
  • PD5142 - 7 function: operates 2 x CTS5200 Controllers at 2 entrances with door door release, gate motor & D5300 Light control, rechargeable Li-Ion batteries recharged from dry batteries in handset base, typical life 3 years, mains-free.

Caller Unit

  • PD5821 - Single button external Caller unit with keypad
  • PD5822 - Two button external Caller unit with keypad, for twin dwelling application.

Controllers

  • PD5200 - Standard 2 way intercom, door/gate Controller transceiver. 8 - 24 VAC powered, rechargeable batteries provide 48-hour standby. Provides 12 vdc 1.5 amp 2 sec . pulse to drive electric lock release & Normally Open relay contact to trigger powered gate system. Output relay pulse selectable to 5 seconds.
  • PD5300 - 230V lighting/garage door control (used in conjunction with L5200 or CTS5200). 240 vac powered plus dry relay contact to trigger garage door motor etc.
  • PD7901 - 230 V to 12 VAC transformer for use with EXTPOWER ac power pack or CTS5200 Controller.
